(Birth to Grade 5)
Nursery
|
 |
For your convenience we
have a staffed nursery for children from birth to 24 months. Please
take advantage of this ministry during the worship services. |
Kid's Time
|
During the service,
children sit with their parents. Midway through the service, the
children are dismissed for
their own classes in the lower level. We provide 2 classes at
this hour for children age 2 - Grade 2. |

Connections
|
 |
Our Connections classes are
at 11:00am. There are classes for children
age 2 through Grade 5
in the lower level. Our
classes focus on Bible teaching and building relationships.
These classes run from mid-September to mid-June. |
Summer Ministries
|
During the summer months we stop the
usual connections classes and change our service time to 10:00 am.
During this time there is children's classes for children age 2
through Grade 5 held in the lower level. |
Hear from Heaven
|
Held on the last Sunday of each month
from 6:30 - 8:00 pm. We invite you to come together as a
church family and pray for the needs inside and outside our
church. This evening will also include
“Learning to Pray ~ a Kid’s Way”. Carol Klassen will
be teaching children from age 2-Grade 5 how to pray. |
Boys/Girls Club
Kids who are in Grade 3 - 5 have some unique challenges. They
already question who they are, where they fit in and wonder what
really matters in life. They deal with bullying, gossip and the
pressure to grow up too fast. What should we do about it? How can we
help these kids through this time? Parents, you are the most
important influence in these kids lives but as a church we want to
come alongside you and your children through this tough time.
Once a month boys who are in Grade 3 through Grade 5
will be invited to
join some cool men in some activities that will be active and fun
while learning who they are in Christ. They will talk about how God
has created them to be a warrior and that God has given each one
their own mission to fulfill. They will go rock-climbing, battle in
air soft wars, play sports and more.
Girls in
Grade 3 through 5
will have their own night once a month where
they will be invited to join some fabulous women and be encouraged
to be the woman God has created them to be. They will talk about
gossip, bullying, self-esteem and friends. They will scrapbook, bake
and have manicures and pedicures.

What our kids are learning...
Preschool (ages 2-5)
A fun, active and creative morning where
preschool children discover about God. Crafts, songs, Bible stories
and creative play allow the children to learn in a safe and secure
environment.
Elementary
Children from Grades 1 - 4 will actively learn about God’s creation
of the world and how they are created to be a unique part of God’s
brilliant plan during the fall session. They will engage in crafts,
games and interactive stories while building relationships with
other children their own age.
The preteens in Grade 5 will be using the
curriculum called “Grapple” as they work through issues that are
important to them in their everyday life at school and home. They
will grapple with questions like “Why doesn’t everyone go to
heaven?”, “Why do so many people boss me around?”, and “Is God a
party pooper?” They will search the Bible for answers while building
friendships with their peers. |
